Hatter: ‘Twas brillig and the slithy toves did gyre and gimbel in the wabe all mimsy were the borogoves and the mome raths outgrabe.

I’m in Yarker at my parents’ at the moment, we just had a very late birthday dinner for Laura & Tyler. Their birthdays were a month ago but Tyler was away to California (work-related) for a month. Anyway, they’re all chatting so I decided to grab a chance and post!

Mad Hatter: There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of wonder, mystery, and danger! Some say to survive it, you need to be as mad as a hatter. (picks up his hat) Which, luckily, I am.

The Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?
[Alice checks Hatter's temperature]
Alice Kingsley: I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.

Alice Kingsley: Sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

(quotes from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.)

wishing: I stayed a bit more longer with Jessy up in Newmarket/Aurora. 24 hours was not enough! At least I had a total blast with her & her friends.

Sheldon: I’m polymerized tree sap and you’re an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns to its original trajectory and adheres to you.

Wolowitz: Penny, let me take this opportunity to point out that you are looking particularly ravishing today.
Penny: Not with a thousand condoms, Howard.
Wolowitz: So there is a number.

Sheldon: Woman, you are playing with forces beyond your ken.
Penny: Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie!

(quotes from The Big Bang Theory.)

[Richard Vernon places magazine rack in front of door to hold it open]
John Bender: That’s very clever, sir. But what if there’s a fire? I think violating fire codes and endangering the lives of children would be unwise at this juncture in your career, sir.

King Arthur: The Lady of the Lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held aloft Excalibur from the bosom of the water, signifying by divine providence that I, Arthur, was to carry Excalibur. THAT is why I am your king.
Dennis: [interrupting] Listen, strange women lyin’ in ponds distributin’ swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

French Soldier: I don’t want to talk to you no more, you empty headed animal food trough wiper. I fart in your general direction. Your mother was a hamster and your father smelt of elderberries.
Sir Galahad: Is there someone else up there we can talk to?
French Soldier: No, now go away or I shall taunt you a second time.

(movie quotes from Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

Bianca: Yes. We’ll dance, we’ll kiss, we’ll come home. It’s not quite the crisis situation you imagine.
Walter Stratford: Kissing? That’s what you think happens? I’ve got news for you. Kissing isn’t what keeps me up to my elbows in placenta all day long.
Bianca: Can we, for two seconds, ignore the fact that you’re severely unhinged and discuss my need for a night of teenage normalcy?
Walter Stratford: What’s normal? Those damn… Dawson’s river kids sleeping in each other’s beds and what not?
Bianca: Daddy that is so not-
Walter Stratford: I’ve got news for you. I’m down, I’ve got the 411, and you are not going out and getting jiggy with some boy, I don’t care how dope his ride is. Mamma didn’t raise no fool.
